NHL picks for April 6, 2017

It’s a busy night in the NHL and there are a couple of Western Conference games I think are worth a look from a value perspective. Let’s start in Denver.

Minnesota Wild -177 at Colorado Avalanche

The Wild have been free-falling for so long that I think people are starting to forget that they’re a pretty good team. Up against the league’s worst goal differential team and desperate to get things sorted out ahead of the playoffs next week, this looks like a good spot for them.

Vancouver Canucks at Arizona Coyotes +105

In a match-up of two low-talent teams playing out the string with similar goaltenders, I can’t quite figure out why the Desert Dogs are dogs in this spot.

Record: 11-6 (+4.7 units)
