Boy, what a celebration it was when the (Las) Vegas Golden Knights unveiled their name and logo in late November. The music, the lights, the confetti. Heck, the club was so high on its new brand identity that it had hats and shirts ready to roll! Don’t let this party end!
UNFORTUNATELY, the hangover just set in and it’s a doozy. On Tuesday, the U.S. patent office refused to register “Golden Knights” because an NCAA team is already using it. The NHL seems unperturbed at the moment:
